Background
Commenced operation on 28 June 2012, Manulife Cambodia was the latest market entry by Manulife Financial, one of the world leading life insurance companies. As the first wholly foreign-owned life insurance company in the kingdom, Manulife Cambodia committed to providing clients with much needed financial protection products and services.

1. Manulife Protector
A financial protection that helps to reduce customers’ financial worries, which is available in 7, 10 and 15-year terms & can be issued to applicants between ages 18 to 55.

This is an integrated plan providing a combination of protection and savings to support customers’ financial goals. Manulife Savings Protector can be issued to customers aged 18 to 45, with a policy period of 15 years and 18 to 55, with a policy period of 10 years.

A savings fund for children from the age of 12 months to 10 years old for their high school or university education.It has two options – High School Plan & University Plan. The High School Plan pays the guaranteed education benefits when the child is between the ages 15 to 18 and the University Plan pays the guaranteed education benefit when the child is between the ages 19 to 22.

• In November 2011, Manulife Financial received “approval in principle” from Cambodia’s Ministry of Economy and Finance to set up a wholly foreign-owned life insurance operation.
• On May 24th, 2012, Manulife Cambodia received a license from the Ministry of Economy and Finance became the foreign wholly-owned life insurance company in Cambodia.
